This Great White Egret finally decided to do a flyby, after an hour of trying to get close enough for a decent shot. Patience paid off as he gave me one pass. Image was captured at 10 frames-per-second using a Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera and Nikkor Z 100-400mm @400mm (DX crop 600mm), f5.6/6400sec.
